"THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS"

This interesting film is the second in a sequence of three. The films was released many years ago, in 1991, and is one of my favorites. Is about a psychiatrist named Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins) that is ina maximium security jail, as it is a serial murderer and is acussed of killing several people and eat them.

A young FBI agent named Clarise Starling (Jodie Foster) go to jail where is Hannibal, for the purpose of creating a psycological profle to help him to find a famous serial murderer knwon as Buffalo Bill.

In short, after several treatment offered to Hannibal, he decides to work with Clarise in the profile of Buffalo Bill. Calrise at the end manages to catch the murderer who skinned his victims to create clothes.

The Dr. Hannibal Lecter escapes from prision where he was, killing several people.

And finally in the movie, we can see, how he go to another country for lunch another of his victims. And in the third movie he continue eating new victims.

HALLOWEEN..!!

This song is a Tim Burton film that caught my attention enough. The movie is called "THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS" and song is called "THIS HALLOWEEN" The song is that is a city which is called Halloween where the inhabitants are monsters and ghosts. The lived in a dark world where they have a very typical halloween party and celebrate each year.

In the video can be deducted as these people see halloween as a day to scare children and also for evil to be unlleashed.

In wich i think its normal that many people in other countries see this days as a satanic celebration.

But this video is animated and is a movie for children, so has its comic side.

LIBERIA, GUANACASTE.

Liberia is a tipical town of the plains, with wide roads and old adobe buildings and paved as well as drit roads. It has good public buildings like the archaelogy museum that shows the collection of ex-president Daniel Oduber, a very modern church. a nice park with a place where following and old tradition, the city band will play at different days of the week.

In 1856 Liberia was an important center in the war agains the filibusters and since there is also called "the white city".

The land of the liberian people shows the main occupation of the habitants that for generations were casttle farmers. At the far horizon one can see the majestic volcano Rincon de la Vieja, wicha has been active during all our history.There are beutiful rivers like the Tempisque, with lots of farms where cowboys (sabaneros) live, there are part of the many colorful folkloric traditions.

The climate is warm, specially in the summer season; the average temperatures are 26-28 degrees Celsius and in the summer time it can reach 36 degrees.There are several interesting locations in the city of Liberia, like the waterfalls "El Salto" "Hornillas de Guachipelin"; the new church, the cowboy museum, yhe volcano Rincon de la Vieja, etc.

Liberia is a beautiful place, with nice people in where we can enjoy with our family and friends...!! =)

SABORES

This cafeteria is located in Naranjo, is my favorite, here in this place. Is a nice place where you can enjoy with friends and family. There are many delicious types of coffee but also offer a varied menu, such as delicious desseerts , huge sandwiches, ice creams and lunches for people from the highschool. You can come here every day of the week, is a beutiful place...!! =D

Last night there was a 5.9 magnitude earthquake, but no one was hurt. If the people were been on panic, they could have been injured.
Last week Ecuador´s president was kidnapped. He went free quickly and he was ok. If kidnappers had been violent people , he could be dead.
In Chile 33 miners were trapped in a mine. They are waiting to be rescue for the national goverment. If goverment wouldn´t work to rescue them, they would be dead by now.
The INS in Costa Rica, gave Nery Brenes 2 million colones to go to run in Europe, and he won a gold medal in the 100 meters.If the institution wouldn´t give him the money maybe he would not went to Europe to participate in that games.
The highway to Caldera, have had a lot of sinkings and slips.If the goverment had wait more time to open the route, the highway could been in better conditions.
In Asia, some of Asias´s pressing issues are shark finning. The International Union for the Conservation of Nature and the IUCN shark Specialist Group recommend that shark finning is banned in all national waters and international waters. If they created a law in Asia it could have been less damage.
Fuels fell yesterday and will rise in november. If our goverment were not so stupid this would not be happening.

HOMEWORK: PERSONALITY PROFILE

Allan's profile

Allan is my boyfriend, is18 and lives in naranjo. He is studiyng industrial engineering in heredia, but actually has a pretty nice dream, he wants to study for pilot; but there are some drawbacks , so now it's so difficult. Two or three years ago he was in the CCNN, ending with the english now, and this is one of the many reasons that i choose to profile.

He is a person that likes to fight to achieve their goals, but yet when I asked who was scared, he said, " I have a fear of failure, not to achieve what I want" wich is a bit contradictory, because he always fight for what he wants, and does not give up easily.

He born in guanacaste, a part of his childhood lived in San Jose, but in recent years live in Naranjo. Has 7 brothers and he is the youngest. Is a very independent person, he likes to listen to others but also likes that others will listen to him, he has priorities well defined, he don't like fake people, is a little bit snippy. Is a person who chosses his friends and know how to value a true friendship. Is fearful, and has different fears.

He seems that is a rude person on the outside but inside is actually very sentimental, very affectionate and very detailed. Is a perfeccionist and calculating person.He loves music, and knows how to play guitar and now has like a "rock band" that form with his friends.

Has big dreams, and says that some day wants to know Swiss, and also traveling and meeting places....!! When I asked him of any bad experience, and what is the best think of his life, he told me, " You and the music are the best of my life, and any time that I'm not happy is a bad experience....." =D =D

AMIRAT PLANET

On this planet there are different types of people wich also have different thoughts, but they have very clear that respect is one of the most important values. There are shy in some cases but not in all, are usually very outgoing, when they have some crazy idea usually made without much thought so they are very impulsive. These people do not let other tell you what to do, usually do what they want . They live one day at a time, but nevertheless somewhat concerned about their future, but try not affect them.

Are people who hate hypocry, therefore they are very very honest people. Also do not like people who are shallow and only care about physical and material aspects. They are people who like to see the inner of a person and not just the physical and material things. They worry about the real feelings of a person. Are sensitive and always try to help each other, love to listen to others but also to listen to them. Have character and do not let other people with different thougths influence their decisions , have its own criteria.Have no problem showing their feelings openly. Are in love and struggle to find true love.

But there are not only good things there are also negative aspects. Often are paranoid because they are perfeccionist and when something goes wrong they can be confused much. Are often self-centred and very much proud.

The peolpe for this planet are similar to venusian because they care about their feelings and do not feel ashamed of expresing, and are similar to martians becasuse in some cases they are proud and i think that the people in mars do not like others to help them with their problems and that shows some pride.
